JOB OBJECTIVE
We are looking for a dynamic Junior Desktop Support Engineer who will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and providing prompt and effective technical assistance to our internal users
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Provide first-level technical support for desktop-related issues, including hardware, software, and network problems.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop systems and software applications.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes for employees, including setting up new workstations and equipment.
- Collaborate with senior support engineers to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Respond to support tickets and inquiries in a timely and customer-focused manner.
- Document and maintain accurate records of support activities and solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Strong passion for technology and a desire to pursue a career in IT support.
- Basic understanding of desktop operating systems (Windows, Linux, MacOS) and office applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician).
- Familiarity with Active Directory and network troubleshooting.
- Previous internship or work experience in a desktop support role.
